Irene Aguh, a young Nigerian entrepreneur with a background in Strategy and Growth, has launched Rêvie, a revolutionary travel startup that aims to simplify travel for Africans. With a mission to provide affordable and reliable travel solutions that cater to the unique needs of African travelers, Rêvie is building a trustworthy network of partners to offer end-to-end support for both individual and business travel, making dream trips a reality.
Launched in March 2023, Rêvie is the brainchild of Irene Aguh, who, after supporting the marketing and growth operations of large corporations and multinationals across Africa, decided to follow her dream and simplify travel for Africans. The startup’s mission is to provide reliable and affordable travel solutions that cater to the unique needs of African travelers.
“We are excited to launch Rêvie and bring our vision of simplified travel for Africans to life,” said Irene Aguh, founder of Rêvie. “Our team has worked tirelessly to build a network of reliable partners who share our passion for exceptional customer service and commitment to making travel easier for all. We are confident that our end-to-end support, combined with our deep understanding of the African market, will change the face of travel in Africa.”
Rêvie’s comprehensive end-to-end support includes itinerary planning, flights and accommodations booking, visa assistance, ground transportation, and travel insurance. The startup’s network of partners includes top-rated airlines, hotels, and local tour operators, ensuring that travelers receive the best deals and experiences.
“Rêvie is dedicated to providing African travelers with the same level of convenience and ease that travelers in other parts of the world enjoy,” said Irene, “We understand the unique challenges that African travelers face, and our goal is to simplify the travel experience for them.”
The launch of Rêvie comes at a time when the travel industry is slowly recovering from the pandemic-induced slowdown. The startup is well-positioned to capitalize on the pent-up demand for travel among Africans and change the face of travel in Africa.
